Trophy Wife was born in 2010 by Melbourne based Chelsea Bagan.
What initially started as a side-hustle, turned into something really special. A nail art and beauty space that became the anti-salon salon. Relaxed and inclusive, it is a creative space that celebrates beauty and art.
Why the name 'Trophy Wife'?
In this instance it is a tongue-in-cheek take on an out-dated social term we are politely taking aim at.
Our Richmond salon is a collective space of self-employed creatives that is home to not only the Trophy Wife nail artists but also Gin Castro Hair and Makeup & Lili Taylor Nails.

We are first and foremost a client facing salon based in Richmond, Melbourne. Alongside this we also offer content creation and pop-up nail bar services for corporate clients & events as well as editorial and commercial photoshoot work.
Our clients include MECCA, NGV, NGA, Adore Beauty, Disney, Essie, Sportsgirl and BONDS to name a few.
Our work has been featured in publications such as VOGUE, Oyster & Acclaim as well as a career highlight as the lead manicurists for the Toni Matičevski Runway at Australian Fashion Week and on the fingernails of a handful of celebrity clients.
Our VIP clients have included the likes of Bruce Springsteen, P!NK, Jennifer Hawkins, FKA Twigs.
